THERE IS / THERE ARE

"There is" y "There are", significan hay, pero se usan de la siguiente forma:

THERE IS: para singular, por ejemplo:

• There is a girl in the park.........Hay una niña en el parque

THERE ARE: para plural, por ejemplo:

• There are three pens.............Hay tres lapiceros

En su forma negativa se escribe:

THERE IS NOT. Por ejemplo:

• There is not a book..........No hay un libro

THERE ARE NOT. Por ejemplo

• There are not books.........No hay libros

En su forma interrogativa se procede así:

IS THERE? Por ejemplo:

• Is there a book?

ARE THERE? Por ejemplo:

• Are there books?
